Total Year-Round Home Comfort
Vinyl high-performance windows are designed to ensure total home comfort, year round. A full 1/2" of insulating air space provides superior thermal performance and noticeable reduction of exterior noise. Sashes are glazed with rigid, snap-in glazing beads. Glazing is cushioned in the frame by a marine-type glazing system that drains to the outside. Both sashes are fully weather-stripped around the perimeter to control air infiltration. vinyl positive interlocking mullions pull sashes tightly to the mullions for added security and a tighter weather seal.
Decades of Durability
Developed to stand up to the most extreme weather variations, vinyl windows are built with 100% polyvinyl chloride (PVC), precision formed and fusion-welded to create a one-piece seal against wind and water. Solid vinyl frames are built with a chambered profile that creates insulating pockets of air for increased thermal efficiency.
Security
Windows are locked with a positive security latching system that guards against entry from outside. Window sashes cannot be removed from the exterior of the building.
Easy to Clean
Cleaning is made easy because sashes are designed to be accessible from the inside. Casement open a full 90 degrees for access to outside surfaces. Single-hung and Double-hung sashes tilt in, while moveable sliders tilt in or hinge in for convenient access to the outside surface. Window cleaning is no longer a chore.
Frame and Sash are Remarkably Strong
Vinyl one-piece frames and sashes, formed by fusion welding, have been shown to maintain their shape under pressures that cause most other windows to shift, bend or collapse. The multi-chambered design adds to the strength of frame and sash.
Easy Replacement
Vinyl window systems are produced in most standard sizes. Custom sizes can be made to order to fit existing openings without the need for costly remodelling. Optional snap-in interior and exterior finish mouldings permit easy replacement of existing windows.
Maintenance-Free
